Do I need a reservation?
Yes, reservations are strongly recommended due to limited seating. However, feel free to drop in 20 minutes before any scheduled class and we will see if we can squeeze you in.
How do I sign up for a painting event?
Sign up is easy using our online reservations system. Just go to our Events Calendar Page. Click on the event of your choice. Then you will be taken to an event details page. Just follow the instructions and complete the details on the page and you will be able to check-out using our secure Authorize.net gateway. Once payment has been cleared you will receive a confirmation email. Print the email and bring it to your event or you can also show it to the instructor on your mobile phone.
What should I wear?
Aprons are provided. However, remember that this is a painting class, so be sure not to wear or bring anything into the studio that you could live with getting a little paint on. We use professional quality acrylic paints that do not wash out once they have dried.
What time do I need to arrive to the event?
We encourage all participants to arrive 20 minutes before class to find your seat, grab a drink, and get ready to paint. We cannot delay class for late arrivals. Participants who arrive late may miss out on instruction and will not receive any refund.
What do I need to bring?
Your creativity! Bring an open mind and we provide the rest. All necessary art supplies are included in the ticket price.
What if I have never painted before?
This is “fun art”, not fine art. There is no experience needed to complete any of our paintings. Our instructors will guide you step-by-step so that you can creating your masterpiece. Most first-timers are shocked at how well their paintings turn out. Come see for yourself.
What if I need to cancel my class reservation?
Due to the nature of our business and the need to pre-purchase our art supplies for each class, Arty Party does not provide refunds of class registration fees. However, we do allow you to transfer your registration to another event date or you may receive a studio credit in the amount of your ticket price. Any changes or cancellations to a reservation must be notified by email to firstname.lastname@example.org at least 24 hours before the class starts. No changes or credits can be made if the notification occurs less than 24 hours before the class begins. For parties of 4 or more people, the cancellation time frame extends to a one week notice.
If you request to change your reservation again (move your reservation to another class date) for the second or subsequent time, or need to change your party of 4 or more participants, you will be charged a $5 change fee per person.
What is the cancellation policy for a private party?
You may cancel your private party reservation 2 weeks or more before your scheduled party date for a studio credit of your deposit amount. Please understand that we have committed to an instructor and staff for parties inside of 2 weeks and will not be able to make any refunds at this point. The party cancellation window extends to 3 weeks for groups of 30 or more participants. You may change your party date and time subject to availability – please contact our staff. Changes made to your party reservation date or time, inside of 2 weeks to your original party date, will incur a $20 change fee.
Do I have to paint the featured painting?
No, you can paint whatever you would like and help yourself to our “Paint Bar” for all the paint colors that you’ll need for your custom creation. Please keep in mind that instruction will be limited to the featured painting.
